Breast Cancer Action: The Case for Universal Health Care

May 31 2017 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

From Breast Cancer Action:

With the country's healthcare system under attack, it's an issue we're all concerned about. There's constant news about the ongoing efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA), dispute about how to maintain protections for people with pre-existing conditions, and lots of opinions about how to achieve universal healthcare. Are you looking to make sense of it all.

Speakers: Diljeet Singh, MD, gynecologic oncologist with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group and national board member of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), and Wendi Dennis, BCAction member and blogger at the Cancer Curmudgeon.
