In order to be effective allies, we must address personal and systematic biases. This work starts with understanding our own identities. When we understand our own identities, we are able to understand how our identities impact our interactions and expectations of others. These interactive workshops begin with an exploration of your own identity to understand who you are and how that affects the way you interact with others. We will then discuss common identity-based barriers and strategies for overcoming them. Finally, we will workshop identity-based challenges that allies experience to strategize more effective approaches.

This space is wheelchair accessible, with CART & ASL services. Space is limited.
