Better Together, Stronger Together, Healthy Together.
On December 8, 2024, we celebrated the progress of our movement and heard the views of national Medicare for All leaders, leaders of local allied organizations and Chicago legislators. They told us what universal healthcare means to them and their constituents. We also shared actions you can take to keep the movement growing. Most importantly, we were together.
Classical guitarist Keith Larson provided the evening's entertainment!

Chicago For Abortion Rights (CFAR) is hosting a roundtable discussion event on Tuesday, January 30th at Grace Place, on S. Dearborn downtown, beginning at 6 PM. The theme will be "The Year Ahead in the Fight for Reproductive Justice."

Kane County Democratic Women is excited to share our upcoming healthcare forum, "What the Health?" on Sat. Oct. 21st at the Batavia Public Library. The panel, moderated by Dr. Monica Maalouf, features members of the ISPC Speakers Bureau, Carrie Jackson and Dr. Neil B. Perlman as well as public health and policy experts, Edith Avila Olea, MPP - Policy Manager Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) and Kate McCormack, LCSW, Program Manager, Children's Mental Health Initiatives, Kane County Health Department.
