Better Together, Stronger Together, Healthy Together: Holiday Town Hall

Better Together, Stronger Together, Healthy Together.

On December 8, 2024, we celebrated the progress of our movement and heard the views of national Medicare for All leaders, leaders of local allied organizations and Chicago legislators. They told us what universal healthcare means to them and their constituents. We also shared actions you can take to keep the movement growing. Most importantly, we were together.

Classical guitarist Keith Larson provided the evening's entertainment!

Featured Speakers:

- Phil Verhoef, board president of Physicians for a National Health Program

- Brittany Shannahan, Medicare for All Organizer for Public Citizen

- Lilly Lerner, Executive Director of Jane Adams Senior Caucus

- Chicago 1st ward alderman Daniel La Spata

Statements shared by:

  • Delia Ramirez, Congresswoman for Illinois 3rd district

  • Chicago alderpeople who have signed our Resolution in Support of Improved Medicare for All
