Medicare for All Resolutions Webinar

While the widespread availability of COVID-19 vaccines in recent weeks has provided hope for so many of us, some of our neighbors in the immigrant community have been denied access.

Join us this Thursday, May 13 at 8 p.m.ET/5 p.m. PT to learn about this latest example of the shameful inequities in our health care system and strategize about the opportunities to advance Medicare for All during this next phase of hope and uncertainty.

ISPC member Dr. Monica Maalouf will elaborate on her experience as a primary care physician serving patients in Illinois and how COVID-19 has made the longstanding racial inequities in our for-profit health care system more glaring.

Juliana Macedo do Nascimento from the youth-led immigrant rights organization United We Dream will share stories from their members who have struggled with COVID-19 and disparate access to care.

Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-Calif.), a new and energetic representative in Congress, will share her vision of how we continue to build our movement.

And local officials, community leaders and labor organizers will share lessons from their organizing successes to encourage you to help build the movement in your community that we’ll need to win health care for ALL.

Hosted by Public Citizen. RSVP here.
