Our Illinois Revolution Downstate is excited to announce a special guest joining us for our October 27, 2020 call at 8 pm Central. Josh Fox, an American film director, playwright and environmental activist, best known for his Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning 2010 documentary, "Gasland". Among many of his other projects documenting on the front lines for Social Justice, you can catch Josh on his weekly show, "Staying Home With Josh Fox".

We will be talking to Josh about his great support for the Green New Deal as we launch our Midwest Our Illinois Revolution GND Movement. Our work is just getting started!

In the Midwest, we know our environment disasters are connected to our health battles. This conversation has to include Medicare for All. We are honored to also have special guest, Sheilah Garland-Olaniran from Illinois Single-Payer Coalition, retired from National Nurses United and currently working on the Poor People's Campaign. #WeAreAllConnected
