Polling by Northwest Indiana Medicare for All

  • Wicker Park 8554 Indianapolis Blvd, Highland IN (map)

From Northwest Indiana Medicare for All:

We need you to come polling with us door to door in Highland’s 4th precinct on Saturday, Aug. 27.

The polling will start at 11:30 a.m. and we’ll end no later than 3 p.m. Pollsters will meet up in Highland’s beautiful Wicker Park at our NWIM4A table just west of the Banquet Hall to pick up your polling packets with a map, a walking list, a clipboard, a pen and a supply of poll sheets.  You’ll be assigned a poll captain and given basic instructions.  We’ll have bottled water.  If you have a light tote bag, bring it.

If you can spend as little as an hour with us Saturday, come out, we’ll have a route to fit you time frame.

Why a poll?  We’re doing it for several reasons.  One, is to see if Northwest Indiana residents support Medicare for All and, two, whether their support levels track national polling results.  Third, we’ll publicize this data as part of the mission of NWIM4A to be a cross-partisan educational organization.

Our analysis of data from the July 30 polling shows there’s strong support for Medicare for All among Democrats and Republicans as well as from voters with no party allegiance.

We need to get a head count, so please RSVP to nwimedicare4all@gmail.com, if you can make it and tell us what time range you’ll be available. Again, we’ll match a packet to your availability. Call Joseph Conn with any questions, 219-814-7169.
